I liked it a lot, and my mother did,too..

I liked it quite a bit, more so than I expected I would. The ending didn't quite hit for me, but I'd worried about various other potential ways to end it, and am glad they didn't go any of those routes. Won't say more so as not to spoil it for others.

I really enjoyed it. Going in, I thought I was going to like it, but not as much as I did. A movie with a good heart.

Saw it this afternoon. It could have done with being a bit funnier but overall very engaging with pleasing performances. 8/10 from me 😀

Huge Beatle fan here. I liked this quite a bit. Meant to be light and entertaining and it succeeded quite well.

Same here, though it would've been nice to know a little more about the two strangers who also remembered The Beatles, one of whom was Russian and one of whom was British. How did they find one another? What were they doing at the time of the freak blackout that allowed them to remember the band? Though that probably would've ended up adding too much exposition. Maybe Danny Boyle could add a DVD extra on that.

BTW, are you a native of Washington D.C. or Washington State? I'm in the latter.
