SPOILERS: Linda Cardinelli in "Dead to Me" and "Bloodline": Same Plot, Almost Same Character

There is only so much work out there for actors and actresses in Hollywood, and it turns out that Linda Cardinelli pretty much signed on to the same show with the same plot, twice, almost in a row.

I only found this out because I'm locked down and sampling Netflix right now but...there it is.

The first show was Bloodline, which ran from 2015 to..2017, I think.

The second show is Dead To Me, which has had two seasons since 2019.

In both shows, Cardinelli plays a nice enough, pretty enough young woman(well, middle-aged, but she LOOKS young) who gets tangled up in somebody else's murder and has to help dispose of the body...and then hide the information from the police.

The characters in the two series have different backstories, but with Cardinelli playing both of them, it all "blends together." Cardinelli plays a lot of "angst" scenes with her big eyes opening wide in anguish while her mouth droops downwards in a frown, and we get to suffer with her as she tries to keep the guilty secret of a murder from the authorities, going a bit desperately mad in the process.

I suppose the two stories are different enough(one set in the Florida Keys, the other in the Southern California community of Laguna Beach --hey wait, they're both "seaside stories"), and the casts are different enough...but poor sufferin' Linda Cardinelli...SHE's the same in both shows.
