Based on the marketing, it should be a minor role. The original three did all the promo work.
Maybe the PR department knew about the backlash on social media and reduced his work promoting the movie.
It's certainly not minor but more an ensemble which i feel hurts the finished product.

of course the legacy cast has more promo appeal, that's why they did all the promo work. but unlike "ghostbusters: afterlife" where the legacy cast did all the promo work as well, but in the movie itself they only showed up for a cameo in the last 10 minutes, in "jw: dominion" old and new stars at least get equal screentimes. one of the very few good things about this movie.
Woke clowns dont like Chris Pratt for who knows what and like to trash him in their twitter echo chamber. Then they think that real world does the same. That what post was referring.

There isnt a backlash in real world. Its just woke clowns sitting in their echo chamber and getting their usually crazy over made up reason. Same "social media" praised like crazy Kristen Stewart Charlies Angels reboot and then it flopped because in real world no one cared about that movie.
