Gerard Butler is usually good to watch, however this was a forgettable film, simply because it was just way too predictable. What was shown in the film, was what we have seen in other films a hundred times over.
Acting and performances were good, however it seems Butler was phoning it in with this one.
Nothing to take home with this film, and utterly forgettable. First film was way more enjoyable.
Just watched it and agree. Even with the first one borrowing more plot elements from other films, it was more memorable than this one. Nothing really happened until the last 20 minutes or so.
shareIt's not a bad feature. High production value. Good directing. It's set in the country of Europe to save cost on shooting locations. I liked the Arab, non Jewish, Muslim Terrorist actress Evin Ahmad. Huge Euro cast. Solid. A bit slow burn and I liked Part 1 better.

shareFrom the ending in Part 2 and its box office returns I’m guessing it will be granted a $20M budget and a European or Middle East filming location. Saudi Arabia has opened up for filming and it offers nice incentives.
We have to agree it’s nice to have a movie without woke elements so kudos for that !
