DEN OF THIEVES should've just been a standalone Heist movie where the bad guys win and with no sequel, even this many years apart since the 1st movie. My gut tells me this isn't going to do very well and if it's only limited in the theatre run and straight to Streaming, that's a sign right there it won't be as good.
shareI'm going to be really interested how this performs in theaters. The first one performed well at the box office and it also became a hit on Netflix in 2020 during COVID despite being released 2 years ago. Some of Gerard Butler's action movies do decent at the box office and there isn't much competition when this is being released, but it's going to be interesting to see if audience come out to see a sequel to a movie 6 years after it's release and one that arguably didn't need one either.
