Battle Scene Question?
I was wondering how the English and French knew who was who especially the guys in the armour? Did people accidentally kill people on their own side in the battles back in those days?
shareHistorically, Henry V ordered that his soldiers wear the cross of St. George, front and back. That aside, keep in mind that the battles weren't free-for-alls, and that the men would be moving together as a unit, much like the Romans or a Greek phalanx, so would be better able to identify the enemy.
