0% chance the dad is that computer illiterate. Was this script written in 1998? Also the Live Your Life song from a million years ago gets shoved front and center.
Very weird film.
Their dad chose to be computer-illiterate because he didn't care much for technology. His thing was the outdoors; he even built his own cabin. And "Live Your Life" was the song he sang to his daughter when she was young, so it was a bit of nostalgia for the two of them.
