So....
This film remember me very much of another film that covers some of the same things.
Hear me out.
"CITIZEN CANE"
We get an old guy, his last dying moments, regrets, aloneness etc.
However - and I am not REALLY knocking this film, it is what it is, and covers its material just fine - Citizen Cane knocked it out of the park with what all it did within its 2 hours. I mean, it covered a LOT. Where as this film - small as it should be - sort of does the same thing, but I felt it didn't do it very well. Same concepts, different attack on the subject, DEFINITELY not a masterpiece like Citizen Cane.
Not saying it is anywhere good as Citizen Cane, just that it covered the overall same premise.
