Relic (2020) was better than this
No doubt this will end up being a controversial take but I found Relic was better than Hereditary overall. I think in both atmosphere and score Relic was much stronger and while Toni Collette was great as the lead, the rest of the family falls short while on Relic the three leads work much better as a unit and deliver stronger performances. The pacing on Relic is also way better and the movie flows more smoothly than Hereditary. Also the ending was better and hits harder and is also something people can better relate to.
