This is like if mother! actually worked. I got the same kind of vibe from this movie as I got from mother! but I didn't leave the theater wishing I could get my time and money back.

For sure the final scene, but also the way it gradually shifted gears from a family drama/thriller into a supernatural story.
shareI swear the background such as the evil grandmother involved with evil cults affecting her family was similar to the background story of Paranormal Activity. The two gals christy and Katie in paranormal activity had a grandmother involved with some kind of cult and and it affected and destroyed the lives of her daughter and granddaughters not to mention others around them.
