This show is so boring now that I think most people watch it just for the next space disaster. They try *really* hard to make me care about the characters but it’s just not happening.

They exited Shantel VanSanten and I can tell in S4 they’re looking for a way to exit Kinneman as well. Mind you these are the only two strong actors and characters you care about on the show. Unfortunately, Ed Baldwin is just a shaky old man now. *snore*

Hope they end it this season while they still have some dignity.

There were disasters in all seasons, just this time they are more sci-fi. To VanSanten I say good riddance. Great ass, but that is pretty much all. They freshened up the cast, which was needed, because many actors/characters from previous seasons were annoying. Now there is more sci-fi action and less run-of-the-mill family drama.

I agree about Kinnaman. Apparently they are preparing him to leave the show and I doubt that they will find a worthy successor.

We’ll see where it goes. I can’t really make sweeping calls after 1 episode, but I’m not convinced there’s a lot of steam left.

I think a big attraction for this program was the alternative history approach - but as it diverges further from our reality it gets less interesting.

Ed Baldwin found a way to shake things up a lot in S4.
