Time period? .. and other questions
What year was the film set in? by the minimal use of technology, fashion and hair styles this looks like anywhere from 1999 to 2003. This doesn't seem like 2020. The main character's look is very late 1990's/early 2000's. I understand it's a small town and those town's can be a few years behind but this seems like 20 years behind or more.
The other question would be **spoiler** is her step father the father? it was strongly hinted that he was with the dog petting scene. She looked over at with contempt and there was an odd vibe.
