well lads, can't abide drying paint any longer. pulling the plug.
but a few tips for the filmmakers, for future reference: WHO THE F___ WERE ALL THESE MANY CHARACTERS AND WHY ARE YOU DRAGGING THIS SHYTE OUT SO LONG? Argggh.
like episode 4. the girl who got a haircut and sent to the hospital. WTF man, who was she? Why was she important enough to get a whole sequence? See, that's just one example. IMO what you guys did wrong was try to be too 'mysterious' by constantly bringing in all these disparate people, but instead of intriguing me to want to know more it just irritated me, had me wondering what the hell they all have to do with the main story line? And, even ones whom ARE connected to the girl's murder (like mrs devlin and her daughters) ...that fact alone doesn't mean they need a scene. Like all the slow-ass scenes of the devlins at home crying, being sad. WTF is that all about? I mean, even if you show it, WHY SUCH LONG DRAWN OUT SCENES? Came off totally pointless to me. Wasting my time, dude.
Dude, your show is boring.
And while I'm at it, the main woman character (cass?) is really annoying. She broods, mopes, mean-mugs her way through all of her scenes. WTF. Grouchy bitch.
by far the coolest character is grown up Adam but hell, that story line has hardly touched on but for a brief few minutes in each episode. AND THAT'S THE GOLD YOU *SHOULD* BE MINING, LMAO. smh you guys are really lost.
now we are entering split personality disorder with the cass chick. Yawn. Not gonna make it past episode 4 which is finishing right now. Don't know what happened to starz but they surely dropped the ball on this one.
if you guys ever decide to do a series with the grown adam guy, hmu. otherwise,
It is slow. True. Thankfully, it is well acted, but it is a slog. Similar formula to very similar, Seattle, WA, show my wife and I slogged through maybe 2 years ago. So many characters, red herrings, connections, and back stories. Too many. But, I'll stay with it to the end.
