shareBarley gonna make 200 million? Yikes
shareWhat was the budget?
shareI think it was one of the lower budgeted superhero movies, so that'll help. Still, a money loser for sure.

Deadline and Variety have both confirmed a 250 to 300 Million Break Even point for BOP...
as we see now, BOP topped out a disastrous 200 M World Wide total....Far from The "Supernova" type box office some were expecting(LOL)
its also been reported that, WBs attempt to release BOP on VOD pretty much went down in flame as Bloodshot beat BOP during its 1st weekend on VOD....Hilariously WB then had to drop BOP's price from 19.99 to 5.99....
all in all....WB will lose around 50 M+ on BOP...
If we judged the movie only by itself it would be considered a flop....but given the fact its part of the DCEU and a direct sequel to Suicide Squad which just 3 years early opened to 133 M+ and made over 750 M....lol BOP is a complete disaster, BOP Literally lost almost 70% of its audience in only 3 years....
And Deadline and Variety are right that the breakeven point would be around 300 million.
But wait a minute...why are YOU quoting that? Remember...you're the only MORON that I've seen say that marketing costs don't count against a film's profitability because it's covered by "home media"(your exact words).
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
So according to YOUR idiotic financial model the breakeven point would be around 170 million, no?
And Deadline and Variety are right that the breakeven point would be around 300 million.
But wait a minute...why are YOU quoting that?
^^^
because you called me out in another thread when I said the break even point was 300 M....
You responding by asking where I came up with that and then claimed the Break even point was 170 M...
which was quite Odd because, because right before BOP opened(when you were confident and Predicting "supernova" box office for the film) you claimed the Break even point was 350 M for BOP
but astonishing just 3 short weeks later after the film flops and doesnt do near the "supernova" box office you were expecting, Now your "Break Even" Point drastically changes from 350 M to 170 M..
now your back to 300 M(obviously you read both deadline and Variety's reports and realized you couldnt LIE about your NEW adjusted 170 M break even point) ...
and you've since been forced to shift back closer to your ORIGINAL break even point and give up the LIE of 170 M and I must ask...
was WB losing 50 M+ on BOP and BOP having the lowest DCEU opening, domestic total and World Wide Box office of all time, was that the "supernova" box office you were expecting for BOP?
now I Will continue ending my posts with your ALL TIME Fails
Queen All time fail #3----"A 300 million OW for Avengers Endgame is dead, It Will be interesting to see If Endgame can even match Infinity Wars 257 M Opening now"
lol less than 48 hours after making this statement, Avengers Endgame Opened to 357 M, destroying the Opening Weekend record, and resulting in you being WRONG by almost 100 Million
Lol hilariously the best part about this epic fail was WHY IT HAPPENED....and It happened because you INCORRECTLY read deadlines article
You only read the title of the article and not the article itself, The Title said something like "Endgame at 48 Million in Previews"
You got so excited by the title, You stopped reading and rushed to make troll thread to claim you were right and Endgame wasnt living up to expectations....you then Hilariously Proclaimed "A 300 million OW for Avengers Endgame is dead, It Will be interesting to see If Endgame can even match Infinity Wars 257 M Opening now" based on WRONG INFORMATION...
because had you read the entire article, It actually said "endgame at 48 Million with Half the night still to go"
good times
Lol...you are such a dummy...i mean a real idiot.
I understand this movie lost tens of millions of dollars.
I am MOCKING YOU. YOU said marketing costs don't count against a film's profitability and are paid for by "home media".
Are you denying you said that?
I've got the posts on this very site where you said that.
Should I roll them out, bill?

...that may be impossible to meet. Watch out Disney...you're being set up for another "underperforming" narrative a la The Last Jedi.

I'm going to see it too! I'm just warning about the expectations being so high that if it doesm't break records it's going to be looked at as an "underperformer".

Fast Forward a few months....Black Panther Met and Exceeded all possible expectations and Nets Disney 500 M+ in Profit.....also worth noting Queen disastrously Predicted a 125 Million Opening Weekend for Black Panther, Once again Astonishingly sticking to his Incredible consistent abilty of missing by 70 MILLION +
