Her make up was so creepy in the first scene. She looked washed-out, white as a ghost, with bright red lipstick. I didn’t want to watch that vampire look for 90 minutes. But I stuck it out for a couple of minutes and her look got so much better.
So glad I did. This movie was really sweet. Loved the little girl.
I was more weirded out that Travis Van Winkle was the love interest. I haven't seen a lot of things he's been in, but what I have seen he always played a douche. He wasn't, so that was a relief.
It was a cute movie for sure and I think the girl was the best part.
I didn't realise until this year that the same actress plays the mum in Magic Stocking, from a year or two earlier. She looks completely different, and even more like a vampire with her hair dyed black.
I'm also struggling to believe it's the same person though because she's carrying herself completely differently in each movie, so fair play to her, she's good at her job, and it makes a nice change from most the Hallmark usuals who just play the same person in everything
