Why was this never shown nationwide?
You'd think a movie about a childhood icon would be playing everywhere. This is especially true, considering it is the 50th anniversary since the beginning of "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood". Why no one else has asked why it'never showed everywhere is a real mystery. However, I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering this. Is this documentary such an easy target for the Oscars that it can only be shown in select cities? Let's hope the Tom Hanks biopic plays nationwide, when it comes out next year. Everyone (who watched Mr. Rogers) deserves to see a movie about Fred Rogers, not just the lucky people.
