What do you most want to see in the show and what do you fear most?

My list of things I want to see

1. The forging of the rings

2. The rise of Morgoth and Sauron. I would prefer a show that focused on their rise of Sauron
since he was the central figure of the later books who was not really fully explained or
developed.

3. Glorfindel's heroics - They left him out of LOTR movies but he's a BIG deal - He might only
be a first age hero. I don't think he was around in the second age BUT they could have made
up some minor story lines.

4. The blue wizards journeying to the east. I thought there could have been an opportunity to
cast people of color in Eastern roles. The blue wizards could even have adopted the look of
people of color to blend in.

5. glimpses of the great cities of the Dwarves and Numenoreans.

6. More Gandalf and Saruman. Can't get enough Gandalf. I know the wizards did not officially
show up in Middle-Earth until the third age but I'm sure they could have easily wandered
unofficially through Middle-Earth during the second age.

My list of fears

1. I've seen enough of Galadriel. I don't want to see Girl Power Galadriel

2. I've never been impressed with Lenny Henry. I hope he has a minor role. Black Gandalf?

3. Too many stories about made up characters. There are plenty of characters that could be
used.

4. I've seen enough of the hobbits. The Hobbits got enough exposure in LOTR and The Hobbit.
I didn't think the hobbits played a significant role in the second age.

5. What's with the nomads with antlers? Who cares about nomads with antlers?

6. I'm hoping that race is not part of the plot. I don't mind a POC elf/hobbit/dwarf BUT I don't
want the color of their skin to be part of the story. Peter Jackson said he wanted to tell
Tolkien's stories instead of his stories. This show is weird because they are inventing
characters for various subplots.

1 = A true representation and adaptation of Tolkiens book.

There is no other. That is all that should happen. It won't and so everything else is irrelevant.
