Actually not bad
I went into this film with very low expectations since Carano's direct-to-video movies in the past have mostly been some real SHIT, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's still not a top-tier film by any means, but it's competently made and features some nice scenery and some solid performances, even from Carano.
I think Gina is not naturally a good actor, but with the right direction she can turn in a decent performance. Her performances have varied a good bit throughout her acting career, with Haywire probably being her high point whereas she was operating on high-school-acting-class level in some of her DTV films.
My main complaint about this film is that it's a little slow and drags a bit in the middle. But if you enjoy action thrillers, nice wintry Canadian scenery, cool wolf action, and/or Gina Carano then it's worth giving a look.
