This thing was rated nearly 5-stars by Netflix... the only reason I gave it a chance.

Exact same reason I watched it! What the hell? I know it can't be the viewers rating it that high.

This movie actually seemed promising to me for a while, for like the first half of the movie. It felt like it was building up to something. Then? Nowhere. It gradually got dumber and dumber, and finally it's like it just exploded into a million pieces and that was it. It was SO bizarre. At the end of it I was just sitting there staring at the credits saying "what the fuck" and wondering what the hell just happened.
