Theaters are in on it

I'm hearing all sorts of stories, for instance, where theaters say it's sold out, and then when you find out later, the theaters are actually empty. Preventing people from going to see it.

Heard other stories, from the sound is turned up so loud, to get people out of the theater, and the sound is so low that people eventually complain, but the sound is then not turned up sufficiently.

What you reap, you sow.

That is just idiotic. Why would theaters do that? That's money out of their pockets too. Don't spread these bullshit conspiracy theories.

reply

Maybe not the theaters themselves but it wouldn't surprise me if some retarded overzealous employees decided to take things into their own hands to own the chuds. Remember this retard employee from the vape shop?

edit:

Or all of these other retarded employees making their companies lose money to own the chuds.

Well yeah I guess some idiotic employee(s) could try to do something, but even if that happened I'm sure they would get fired after that. Theaters are a business and their business is making money. There is no way they would take a movie in their programming and then sabotage it's showings.

reply

Most of the above got fired after the events too but they were just examples that some let the internet cloud their judgement too much and will indeed do illogical things to one up their perceived enemies. So it's entirely within the realms of possilbility that some theater employees might sabotage screenings. I haven't seen any evidence of it happening but I also wouldn't dismiss it as a bullshit conspiracy theory either.

reply

I hear you, but in this case it sounds like nothing but conspiracy theories.

AMC theaters and The studio behind Sound Of Freedom have stated that these rumors are not true and that the movie is doing extremely well. Good for them.

reply

Yh it could just be rumours, as I said I've not seen any evidence of it, tbh this is the first I've heard of the claim.

reply

Why the fuck would theaters, who are desperately trying to avoid bankruptcy, refuse to let people buy tickets for ANY film?

If they didn’t want to show a film for any reason, they wouldn’t book it in the first place.

Besides, the producers of the film themselves said this BS rumor isn’t true.
