Getting to like this show ...

When it first came out I only watched it on the strength of I had nothing else on Hulu i was interested in, and I remembered Nathan Fillion from "Firefly" which I really liked.

However, when I watched it and saw that he had gotten old, gray and kind of lumpy I had my doubts. Well, that was all on purpose, and the show really developed a lot of very good characters and was a bit genuinely thoughtful and entertaining.

I hope this survives and we get to see where this is going in the long run.

I hope they don't run this show into the ground like they do so many network shows. I agree it's getting better and I think the show should last a few more years and then that's it. I'd hate to see it become a pale imitation of itself.

I also like it, I've only watch the last 3 episodes but its fun.

I've been a big fan since the pilot. I wasn't sure about it before I saw it, but was hooked quickly!

We can't keep Nat Fillion from getting older, but we can enjoy him while he still has a TV and film career. I liked him in Firefly, too, and he invested in an electric car company where I live, so he's solid for me !

I don't much care for him as an actor, and he is getting older ... but strangely he really does a great job in this role. And I like most all of the other characters as well, plus the plots, even though a bit simple and sappy, are fun and thoughtful ... it's a well-done show.

Good to hear that!

I won't be watching it anymore unless they get Afton Williamson back as Talia Bishop ... she was a big part of the show, and if there was someone bothering her on the set, that needed to get resolved by ABC or the show's management or whatever.

reply

Don't expect it.

ABC let Castle (2009 - 2016) bite the dust when they could no longer justify pouring anymore money into it. Add the crappy writing and the main actress causing her own set of problems, I doubt the network would even bother to resolve whatever the situation may be.

Seems like ABC's solution is just to wipe their hands clean of it and move on.
