They should have gone the digital route with this. Lots of people wanting to see it but it is not playing where they are at no doubt due to the pandemic and also because of the limited release.
I agree. The budget for this movie was cheap and it was critcially acclaimed. On top of that, a lot of people aren't going to theaters right now and looking for new movies to watch at home. Charge $20 on demand for it and A24 would easily make a profit back.
Yes, sorry. Okay, it's not about accessibility - it's about convenience. Okay, they offer a trial subscription, but they are still getting something from you. THey are getting your personal data, and then you have to go to the bother of cancelling, whereas, with pirating, it's no strings attached free. So it's a no brainer.
Not really. I made a replica of it, so the right holders still have their film. I viewed/consumed it for personal use, not profiting from it, so it's okay.
