I don't know why they've done so many remakes of this story. If you pop in The Turn of The Screw on IMDB there is an extremely long list of remakes. Plus, there's The Innocents with Deborah Kerr which is the same story, renamed.

I can't imagine that this one will be so much better than any of the others. The Innocents, IMO, was really good and creepy.

I do. I've seen it more than once and like it very much. It's an old school ghost/haunting type movie, with very good acting and scary kids.
