Mat recast with a new actor for season 2

That's always a good thing with one of the more interesting characters.

It is unclear exactly why The Wheel of Time recast Mat. No official statement on the reason has been announced. Based on Barney Harris’ portrayal of Mat in the early episodes of The Wheel of Time season 1, it seems unlikely that he was removed for poor performance.

I read that he left because COVID shut down production of season 1, and he never returned. I already hate the new guy's face.

Hopefully his replacement won't mumble his lines like the previous guy did.
