shareAs I've said, it makes me think that writer actually hates jews and was trying to put stuff in he thinks they want.
It's like a writer that hates black people but is writing a show for them. In this scene they eat fried chicken and watermelon, because they're happy, after that they "get down" and are "funky" to music. I think our demographic will love that!
BOOM!
I think Jews can decide what Jews want.
And we absolutely do want to kill those who want to destroy us BEFORE they succeed.
As it happens, I believe that is the main reason so many "professional critics" dislike the show despite its ticking pretty much every box in the Progressive agenda.
No one gets to decide what they want with entertainment. Someone creates it and someone pays for it and you are served it.
The show was written by a Jewish person who wanted to shed light on some aspects of American history that I am sure most people are unaware of.
Also, since you only watched one episode, you are not qualified to critique the show on the whole.
I suspect he secretly hates jews.
I'll bet he hates older jews that believe the religious stuff and are filled with hate and obsession.
The movie La La Land was like that, only had nothing to do with jews.
The guy made that to honor "old musicals" and it looked like something made by a person who didn't like old musicals, so he presented elements of musicals but with none of the passion someone who loved them would.
I haven't seen the show yet but this scene sounds like it was lifted from a book by Dan Simmons called "Carrion Comfort". It's about psychic vampires.
The main character is a holocaust survivor that first meets these " psychic vampires" as a boy in a concentration camp. Later...(fast forward to him as an old man).. he and a band of other people become aware of them and try to stop them..
There is a scene in the book where the rebels are captured and forced into a human chess game.
I actually read that book. Esoteric. I also noticed some similarities.
