Kid is old enough to know better.
Should be conflict of interest for the Judge father to have anything to do with his son's stupidity. Just pay for a good lawyer ... and don't make a TV series out of it. ;-)

shareyeah the son is really a stupid spoiled brat, such a whimp, always whining and so selfish not caring that him not getting his shit together would lead to his dad losing everything and going to jail, and that exactly it's thanks to his dad that he himself won't do 20 years in jail, really really dispiseful.
shareNo one would do 20 years in jail for an auto accident. The stories a judge or jury might believe are random depending on the judge or jury and the lawyers involved. It's to me just not a story worth following.
shareThat’s not the point, his son killed the son of a mafia Kingpin. He knows his son would likely be kidnapped and beaten or even killed for what he did. That’s the crux of the story that makes it entertaining.
shareYeah, like Mafia kingpins are such great human caring people? A Mafia kingpin that lets his kid ride a bike through a crime infested neighborhood ... or who even lives in a crime infested neighborhood?
shareI don’t know of anyone who is rooting for the son. His character is drab and boring and entitled. I fast forward through his scenes.
shareMy wife and I do the exact same thing. We were especially annoyed with him getting involved with the Baxter daughter, some goofy montegue/capulet romance.
shareI like the Shakespeare reference you did here. Lately I wonder if anyone has any cultural upbringing, especially the Fine Arts including Literature. I don't take such things for granted anymore, if ever.
