Strangest comedy in a while.

I love Ray Person... well, the guy anyway.. especially when he gets stabbed in the face. I'll always remember him as the pill popping dude from Generation Kill, annoying the other Skarsgård in hilarious ways.. Good ol' Eric Northman, Floki and Pennywise, with their ol' dad, Bootstrap on the Flying Dutchman..

But.. Was this meant to be a sequel or a comic interlude? haha, I still enjoyed it. And the nod to the other IT from decades ago, with the head turning into a spider, very nice. I'm sure that wasn't intended, but still..

And still, this was not what I had expected. Well, not sure what I expected to be honest, but it was a good Sunday evening watch.

If this were still the days of heading down to Blockbuster and picking up 2 vhs tapes on full price, and three on the cheap, and this was in one of them, I'd not have been dismayed... I can still even hear the village roadshow theme music playing before the obligatory movie trailers on each tape. ahhh.. cest la vie, est quod est.
