Too much cgi.
I feel that more practical effects could have helped in making this film scarier. Too much of the cgi was noticeably fake in my opinion
shareI would think that with Firey Bev, they simply overlaid CGI on Sophia Lillis' face and head.
Mrs. Kersh was, I think, Javier Botet who is a remarkable creature actor, with only his head having the CGI witch's face on it.
The giant Paul Bunyan statue was in the book, but how do you make that practical?
Same for the Pennywise spider - how do you make that practical?
