A little disjointed...
But overall a decent horror film. The actors did great. I didn't think Pennywise was as good a villain, but it's all good.

He basically trolls them for three hours until the roast him to death.
Most of the film is Pennywise trying to scare them as adults (whilst showing flashbacks where he successfully scared them as kids), but I think he's most effective at the climax when he really goes to town on them, mocking them in terms of Stan and Georgie and Beverly with the blood in childhood memories, etc. At the climax, they're all down there with him and he could easily kill them or incapacitate them with his Deadlights as he did with Eddie and Richie. It's honestly a battle of wills, as per the book: Pennywise is trying to scare them to despair so he can pick them off, and they are fighting to overcome their fears once again.
