Theater Experience

So, what was everyone's theater experience like when seeing this? I saw it last night, and the theater was packed! Everyone seemed to enjoy it. There was a lot of laughing, though.

I saw it this afternoon. It was a decent sized crowd for an afternoon showing, but not packed. There was lots of laughs, screams, and some applause at the end.

my viewing was bad. kids were on their cell phones half the time which was distracting and mostly everyone was quiet.

no "oooh" "ahh" or laughter..

My theater experience was great but I don't like being in a crowd so I saw it late, last week. I heard a few laughs throughout the movie. It was definitely comical not scary at all to me. First movie was better. This one fell flat. They did get good actors child and adults to portray the characters. Not enough Pennywise for me.

Mine was horrible. I was surrounded by friggin idiots who just WOULDN'T. SHUT. UP.

Also there were a bunch of people next to me with little school age kids at a 10:15pm showing. Like literally when going to see an R rated movie at 10:15 (on a school night, mind you), kids were the absolute last thing I expected to have to contend with.

I'll rewatch the movie when it comes out on Blu-ray - I am sure I missed a bunch of what was said.
