If they dont incorporate the silver slugs and the ritual of Chud into this movie...

...I'm going to be furious. Not including the magical macroverse and the Turtle in the original mini-series is one of the biggest flaws of that version. If they don't do it here in the theatrical film, then it will be another huge missed opportunity to tell the story from the novel the right way.

I thought for sure they'd make use of those high end special FX, which is why the mini-series skipped those parts.

But no.. the movie didn't show any of that. I agree the turtle better be making an appearance in the sequel!

It would have been nonsensical to jam all of that into a film.

If IT had been a TV series, there would have been more time to introduce it.
