(1) The first film had the advantage of working off a draft by director/writer Cary Fukunaga (True Detective, Maniac, Beasts of No Nation, Sin Nombre), which was rewritten by Chase Palmer and Gary Dauberman.

It: Chapter Two is only being written by Gary Dauberman ... the same guy who wrote The Nun and the two Annabelle movies. Awful films.

(2) The first film used the strongest material from Stephen King's book, which flipped between the kids and adults stories. It: Chapter Two will MOSTLY be about the adults, whose lives and encounters with Pennywise are way less interesting.

They'll probably have some scenes from their childhoods. We'll see more flipping back and forth in this movie.

The original book had the adults and the kids both alternating and this will likely do the same.
It should be good.

This movie will be great. The source material is great and all they are doing is making it into a movie. This movie will have higher attendance, make more money and have better reviews. Your outline of why it will suck is stupid and based solely on your opinion of the writer.

No, it won’t be. I outlined why. I could also add that this new film has a less talented cinematographer than the first film but, judging by your reply, I doubt you know what that is.

If anyone wants to tell me why the points I raised are inaccurate, I’m still waiting.

Well let me explain it to you since you are a bit slow and pretty dumb when it comes to movies why this movie will be great.

Source material by King, cant go wrong with this.
Director Andy Muschietti who made It part 1 which exceeded every ones expectations.
Actor James McAvoy who does outstanding and can do almost any character.
Actor Bill Hader
All the kid actors from the first movie
Screen play by Gary Dauberman who wrote It part 1 which was very good
editor Jason Ballantine who has worked on some great films
Made by New line and Warner Bros who are pretty good at making quality films
Cinematography Checco Varese who does outstanding have you seen Jack Ryan and the defendersboth outstanding
and of course Bill Skarsgård as It / Pennywise the Dancing Clown. This guy knows how to pull it off.

Under the Dome is great source material but when you make something for network TV its a lot different than and R rated movie. To many rules on network TV to make anything good.

Are you trying to say there hasn’t been a bad film based on a Stephen King book?

That Gary Dauberman has ever written a good film by himself?

That Checco Varese is equivalent in talent to Chung Chung-hoon, the cinematographer of the first film?

Not much of an outline..
#2 is meaningless to me since I prefer the books way of alternating between the 2 time periods.
#1 Never saw any of these films..those type of horror films don't appeal to me anyway..
I still feel positive that it stands a good chance of being entertaining and that's all I require.
I'm not looking for Oscar material.

The first IT movie in 2017 was GREAT, otherwise it wouldn't be a success and the highest-grossing horror movie in history.

I had doubts about Dauberman, but a review I've seen gives the movie 8.5/10 which can only be a good thing.

And I know that the adults' story is not as good as the children's story, but I think it'll still be great.
