Just such a bad movie. None of the characters are likeable. The whole premise was obvious from the start. This movie didn’t know what it wanted to be and ends up a confusing mess.

Not to mention at the end spoilers ahead.

The guy is arrested for killing the woman but they have a whole bunch of witnesses and gunshot evidence and fucking video evidence to prove all otherwise.

It’s all completely stupid and the high ratings on rotten tomatoes are one of those things where you realise someone’s been paid to rate this highly.

My advice don’t watch this movie.

I agree. It started out decently with adult protagonists (as opposed to teen/college kids) and the actors are fine but as the story unfolds it gets convoluted and by the end I had no idea what was happening. The ‘thoughtful’ arguments were boring and The whole arrest scene you mention is just ridiculous with all the evidence and witnesses.

That's it the premise itself isn't bad and can easily succeed. The movie just became a complete and utter mess though, it was like the director had ADD and kept throwing different plot points and ideas into the mix never fully landing on one.

It tried to be smarter than it was and confused itself to the point by the end yeah it's like wtf did I just watch
