Basically awful
At first I had hopes, a few scenes really got me. Byt the end....no. I think when a certain cadre of individuals shows up, it's all downhill.

shareBasically, it looks not like a 'Quiet Place' rip-off but like a 'Walking Dead' episode. The creatures are all right though.
shareI would have had potential if they had been a group stuck in the middle of nowhere on a camping trip trying to get back to civilization, but the reality is the little piranha bats really weren't much of a threat if you paused for even a few seconds to think about them. At least in a Quiet Place they pulled the monsters from space and made them large enough that you might think it was difficult to kill them, but frankly these critters might have been able to exist in a city like New York where you have lots of gun control, but you would have thought that critters like that in a place like Texas would have quickly been coughing up lead as the locals simply blasted them out of the sky... Which of course would have quickly led to the military marched through the country side with shotguns... Instead we are supposed to believe that the world is just stumped on how to deal with them.
shareAs soon as he puts on the wood chipper I'm thinking why not just let it run all night?
shareYup. Once that group shows up, it gets really really bad. I couldn't finish it.
shareSo derivative of other mediocre films.
We’re like less than a week into the attack and tongueless cults start springing up?!
Shoddy everything
I never even thought of that good point
shareI thought of that too but the Reverend was such a freak I believed he would do something like this to get ahead of the curve.
