It's a good depressing comedy but I wouldn't rate this anything more than a 6 out of 10 at Most...

Thanks. My objections would be small nit picks but as some have said a second viewing may change my tune. Who knows?

I do think it's overrated based on being set in this comic book universe that is always so popular with a lot of people, much like The Dark Knight is. It's not a top 50 film on IMDB. If you take away the Joker character and the Batman connection it doesn't rate nearly as highly as that, but it is a good film nonetheless.

I'd say that there's good aspects to the film but you really have to focus on them in particular. The whole package is terribly flawed but it's really good at convincing people psychologically that it isn't as flawed as it is.
