It's been stated that Phoenix declined to act in the MCU because he would be required to play the roles he was offered in multiple films....which I find to be a very brilliant decision on Phoenix's part, who would want to waste their time on MCU filth any way, lol!

shareYes he did! I dont think Phoenix would have been nearly as good, his dark side is never far from the surface and it would have dragged a fun film down. I really doubt Phoenix was ever offered a Marvel film, they look for actors with a sense of humor.

Why are DCEU fans so insecure over the MCU, are you still butthurt that the MCU destroyed the DCEU? I recall the time Civil War was released DCEU tubbies were convinced BvS would make more and be rated higher haha fun times.
The DCEU is no more , and now doing all it can to copy the MCU formula, DC on the streets , Marvel in the sheets , game set match , game over, insert more coins.

Oh and for the record you can no longer say that Marvel is more mature then DC, this movie deals with a very real problem that we're facing in todays world, and that is mental illness....don't forget Disney is handling the MCU so don't be expecting any mature rated R films anytime soon from this overly family friendly company... game, set, match assface.

shareActually, DC is making a big comeback, ever since they dumped Snyder and made fun films starring Aquamsn and Wonder Woman.
They may overtake Marvel in time, or not. I keep thinking Marvel has nowhere to go but down, yet they're still staying on top.
I wouldnt say there making a big comeback, but its a hell of a lit better than the likes of BvS and MOS, joker looks very accomplished film making for sure.
