Joker is the 2rd villain to have a solo movie. the 1st was Venom.

yes, in the movie he's an antihero. but in the comics he's an villain.

In the comics he's an anti-hero, unless that changed in the last 20 years. That's about as long as I've gone without keeping up with the comics. He started out as a villain, but evolvednintonan anti-hero. Ifbyourebsaying he's a villain again, when did that come about?

When it comes to modern CBM’s? Yeah, probably. Easily the two most noteworthy. Anyone says Suicide Squad? Ha! [Code word: solo]

But despite his long history as a villain, movie Venom was undoubtedly more of an anti-hero (they took inspiration from a number of Venom comics). Joker, on the other hand, has never been the heroic type...certainly not compared to Venom...and you can absolutely expect him to be a full blown villain in this film.

In any case, hail Venom. Venom! Venom! Venom! ;-}.

Catwoman and Elektra came before those movies. And hell, Suicide Squad had an entire team of villains.

Willem Dafoe should had played him back in the 90s. Like between Speed 2 and Spider-Man 1.
