Massive Season 6 Plot Hole

They were picking the squad for the big tournament - the Sekai Taikai.

There was a big hullabaloo around who was going before they settled on their final six. Three boys, three girls.

Then Tori is emotionally compromised and forced to drop out. Eh? I'm thinking, what girl do they have to replace her with?

But no matter because they're picking Hawk instead! Say what? How's that working?

Either the squad of six thing with three boys, three girls was garbage or they were originally picking a girl instead of a male fighter for the hardest team competition in the world!! And that, my friends, is what we call a Massive Plot Hole.

I'll defer to Millsey to judge whether it's a plot hole or not.

It was never stated that it had to be three girls and three boys - just that there had to be one female captain and one male captain. Kreese’s Korean team only has one girl.

Girls will fight against girls and boys against boys. I guess it is up to each individual dojo to choose whether to prioritise the men’s competition or the women’s, or try their chance at both.

reply

It absolutely did state that there had to be three boys and three girls. During the YouTube video announcement when Hawk was holding up his laptop/tablet to show the whole dojo.

reply

Sorry, I just watched the scene again (near the end of ep 3) and you are wrong. The announcement says six fighters, with one boy and one girl serving as captains. It does not say three boys and three girls.

reply

My bad.

Talking about Kreese and plotholes.

SPOILER ALERT for the new episodes of the current season!

Shouldn't this man by on every no-fly list by now? He's an escaped convict. How did he travel by plane? How is he in a german hotel in the current season?

Should there be multiple police officers barging in any second then, arresting him the second he reveals himself? And to even BE at the Sekai Taikai, wouldn't he have to reveal himself anyway?

reply

Kreese was able to get the charges against him dropped thru an ancient Cobra Kai technique

reply

The bigger question I have is will any of the boy fighters self identify as a woman in the tournament

reply

I don't think that particular question is unrelated Milsey. Perhaps they are going to get around it by entering Demetri as a woman!

reply

Did you just assume Hawk's gender?

reply

Hawk's already identifying as cool 😎.

It's Demetri's place to take the hit for the team!

reply

It’s not a massive plot hole. The show stupidly assumes girls can fight boys just as good as boys fight boys.
