That fact alone made season 3 superior than season 2 for me. HATE Stingray , a stupid ridiculous character! He gave me the same feels as Screech from Saved by the Bell or the Fat and Skinny guy in Power Rangers. Unfunny comic relief characters. I hope we never see him again!

As I said elsewhere, he stole s02! He was like Melissa Mccarthy in Bridesmaids.

shareYes he just made no sense and added nothing to the show except a cringe factor. I loved that I was able to enjoy season 3 without him making me cringe.

shareI think because he was just too goofy and it just did not fit with the rest of the show. He was like a cartoon character. The character should have been in a cheesy sitcom instead but he had no place in Cobra Kai, he did not belong in the show at all.
shareThere's actors who can play childish roles as adults, but he wasn't one of them.
shareAs much as I liked Stingray it was wise not to have him in Season 3. Since emphasis was placed on the interactions between the senseis and the teenagers Stingray would have come across as out of place.
