Wow! He is Chozens son. If you recall during season 1 when Kyler came to the LaRusso house for dinner, he was asked where his parents were from. He hesitated before saying Irvine. Chozen in LA now from Okinawa. Should be interesting

If you recall during season 1 when Kyler came to the LaRusso house for dinner, he was asked where his parents were from.

They could certainly write Chosen into the script if they want and might do that if there's another season, but that line had nothing to do with it.

The line was a joke. Daniel, seeing an Asian kid, assumed his parents were immigrants. The laugh came when Kyler said "Irvine".
