Miguel

I got to really like the character a lot. He starts out like the modern day Daniel LaRusso and in the end, he turns into such a badass. You can tell just by his actions in the final fight; the look on his face, his body language, the way he stands after he knocks his opponent down. I also thought it was so badass how Miguel
used the crane. I couldn't believe he did that. That part had me in shock.
He was definitely well-written, although I don't know if I can say I "like" him, especially the way he acted towards the end. I think it was intentional that even Johnny gives him a "What have you become?" look when he insists on fighting dirty and hurting his son - the same look he gave Kreese when he was told to "sweep the leg".

But when I start condemning Miguel for that, I start asking myself things like "What, you're telling me you were never a teenager? You were never misguided? You never got drunk and lost your temper? You never got broken up about a girl and directed that negative energy towards others?" So, Miguel and the other Cobra Kais are, at worst, human teenagers.
