i just finished it. it was extremely slow. they could have done it in 6 episodes.

I didn't find it slow at all - I liked the pace of it and I thought the cast was good too.
I guess there was several little side stories that weren't really necessary that could have been clipped to speed up the pace but personally I thought they added to the series.

We're just starting episode 6 now and agree it is slow. It's interesting enough that we want to see it through but it really does drag on.
