I thought I was watching a High School play or something. The girl is terrible, and there is no way she would spit in the face of a Nazi officer, especially when being held at gunpoint, that injection of empowerment was completely unnecessary.
My goodness. Just to compare it, I watched the movie STARGATE as well as Children of the Gods, first episode of Stargate - SG1, and that acting was exponentially better.
I can't believe this is supposed to be...a serious thing like the other stargate shows. Absolutely high school play or random youtube video level of acting. At least visually it's ok.
shareJust watched it, and I don't see the acting as all that bad. She was trying to do her Karen Allen thing ... since the whole deal was sort of a riff on Raiders anyway. I was a little disappointed they couldn't pass up their "woke moment".
The thing I thought they had loosely plotted was the Nazi knowing a good Stargate address when pros in the field had missed it. He certainly wasn't a "Daniel Jackson" genius, by any stretch. And so that led to the amnesia at the end. The amnesia was necessary to stay in step with the movie, but it unfortunately nullified the entire story.
I guess the point was Nazi's were stopped from gaining an advantage ... but it's emptier when no one knows it happened.
