I just finished watching it

The murder of the hippies was nutty as hell! For a minute I thought they were going to kill Leo's character, since he really insulted them. I also thought the dog would be murdered. I am glad they weren't.

I know he was very old, but was the real life Mr. Spahn blind? Did the hippies really give guests horseback tours of the canyon? I can understand Sharon having friends over that night, considering she was 81/2 months pregnant, she could have went into early labor, and would not be able to call an ambulance. Did she and Roman really have a gate phone intercom? I know in real life, Tex cut phone lines, but I figured it was the indoor home landlines that were affected.
