He was the most entertaining part of the movie, with him, it would have sunk ever deeper.

I agree. There was not one moment that I felt I was watching an actor portray a character. Toni Collette and Rene Russo, on the other hand, were acting. The movie was pretty mundane though.

I disagree . His character was supposed to be OTT. I find him completely compelling! When he is on-screen he commands it. I adore him.
