Look for Kingdom, the series. Same topic: zombie genre in medieval Korea. The six chapters are a fucking masterpiece.

Haven't seen yet. I had it queued the last two weeks. I guess this week I'll finally give it a watch.

I had it in the queue for a while and finally got around to it. It's actually very similar to Kingdom. Most people seem to like Kingdom more but as a series, a lot more can be put in. There were things each did better, IMO.

I loved Kingdom, but it's true, it wouldn't fit well in a movie. Too many stories.

Anyway, after what you said, I think I'm gonna watch Rampant tonight.

'Rampant' is watchable, but if you want to watch a better South Korean zombie film, I'd recommend 'The Odd Family: Zombie on Sale'. If you're more interested in South Korean hack-n-slash action films set during the Tang Dynasty, 'The Great Battle' is excellent.
