Johannes Roberts isn't a bad director but, for a film intended as a way to reboot a high-profile franchise, 'Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City' was terrible on every front.
I was surprised by how shapeless, messy and unenjoyable it was.
Is it fun in a "so bad it's good" sense?
shareI'd categorise the older Resident Evil films as "so bad, they are actually entertaining", but this one was hard to get through.
shareWatching this movie is just like you're watching a cheap zombie TV show with 6.2 IMDb rating that it got cancelled after one season. So, I guess the movie is enough, but it was a bit hard to get through indeed.
