Did this movie kill the franchise?
After the negative reception of this and Kingsman 2 and this flopping at the box office. I doubt anymore sequels get made.

shareYeah, I'm concerned about that myself. I l9ve the first one, and like the second, but not as much. I know a lot of people don't care for the sequel, but I think it's a lot of fun. Unfortunately, this was pretty bad. I was very disappointed.
shareAt least the second one did well at the box office. With this being a flop, not well recieved critically, I think Disney is going to just dump this franchise.
shareThey were talking about doing like seven more movies(!?!?) but I don't see it happening.
shareThere's another one already in the works with Colin Firth and Taron Egerton.
shareIt's not too late to cancel it though.
shareThough I agree that the sequels have not been up to snuff, I am still very happy to hear that they will make more. Even these lesser sequels are far better than the last 3 Bond movies.
shareBut they teased Adolf Hitler in this movie, the sequel can't possibly have Colin Firth and Taron Edgerton.
Except if they consider this as a spin-off and the next movie would be Kingsman 3. I think that would be too confusing.
Maybe it doesn't need to be a franchise, if this is what the result is. 3 movies, one very good, and two not so good. Though another one is in the works. Hopefully it gets back to the tone of the first. I was excited for this last one due to the period in history it was taking place in, but it was a real missed opportunity.
shareFunny when you think that it's exactly like Fast & Furious. The first one was an unexpected hit, the second one was too over-the-top silly but a commercial success, the third one (this movie and Tokyo Drift) is the outlier, trying new and different things but with limited returns.
And the fourth one will be back to the original casts and characters. I'd predict the fifth movie will have The Rock joining in.
Let's pray to the God of producers that it does.
shareI hope Vaughn stops making these. I tried watching this one and it was fucking terrible. Boring, simplistic and dull. Turned it off after half an hour.
The first one was average except for the incredible church scene. Don't find the concept all that interesting really.
