What was the plot? (SPOILERS)

I guessed the broad strokes of this movie just from the title and the description. However, the finer details were lost on me...

What I got from it:

i. Doctor (Henry) was trying to re-create his wife but the clones suffered from the same disease that killed his wife?

ii. He brought Claire into his scheme because she had solved the mystery of the disease that killed his wife.

iii. Claire developed feelings for Henry that he reciprocated only to the extent that it served his original purpose.

Am I close?

My questions:

Why did Henry create a clone of himself (Oliver)? How/why was Oliver blinded?

Why did Oliver develop feelings for one of the clones but try to kill another?

Why did he pick one over the other?

There was also some sort of side plot involving Henry's friend Logan but I missed the details of it.
