Not a good film, sorry
The movie is not well put together, and doesn't add up to much.
The images are nothing special, lots of snow but nothing very pretty or interesting to look at. It's a cliche to want "beautiful but cruel nature", but this movie doesn't try that, nor is even ugly nature. It's just boring snow, and it doesn't even make a point of its boringness.
The story is sub par: there have been a hundred better survival stories. "All is lost" for instance, nailed the lone man adventure. This is similar despair, with none of the depth.
Mads is totally wasted, he almost seems old rather than tough/resilient, and doesn't do much else than look beat scene after scene.
The details of the action are quite poor, we never understand how he manages to eat, sleep, etc once he gets away from the plane.
Overall doesn't give the viewer anything, other than a final relief when they find rescue (or better, when the movie is over).
Could have been good, I was expecting a manly 1.5 hour, I was disappointed.
